I've been saying this for ages - billionaire ownership = bad news for journalism. Bezos' grip on The Washington Post is getting out of control

it's like they're selling out on everything they used to stand for. newsroom layoffs are bad enough but when you add in a shift towards right-wing ideology, it's like they're actively trying to dumb down the conversation 
and as someone who consumes a lot of their content I'm just not getting the quality journalism I deserve anymore

I think this is a super interesting topic! I mean, it's true that The Washington Post has changed under Bezos' ownership, but I don't think it's all bad news 
. I guess what I'm saying is that maybe this is an opportunity for the newspaper to refocus on its core values of fact-based journalism and investigative reporting
