can't even imagine not having the isley brothers around anymore 67 years and still making hits! i mean, shout - part 1 was like, forever old school but in a good way you know? their influence on music is so massive, it's crazy to think about all the artists they've inspired. from drake to jay-z, they're literally everywhere and that's what makes this walk of fame star thing even more special ronald & ernie are still going strong at 84 & 73?! that's dedication i'm gonna be live streaming the ceremony on january 28th can't wait to see the fam perform live
Yooo can you even believe it? The Isley Brothers getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is like, totally long overdue I mean, 67 years is crazy! They've been making hits since I was a kid (and my parents are old enough to be like, super old ) and still going strong. I love how they're not just being honored for their music but also for their impact on the industry as a whole It's dope that they're still actively touring and performing, too - those guys are like, the real deal Can't wait to see Ronald and Ernie rockin' out with their crew at the ceremony
I'm gonna say it, but some people might think I'm crazy - I think the Hollywood Walk of Fame has become a bit too saturated with stars . Like, don't get me wrong, The Isley Brothers are legends and all that jazz , but 67 years in? Can we really keep adding new stars to this thing without making it feel like a participation trophy? I'm not saying they shouldn't get recognized for their contributions to music, but maybe the Walk of Fame should focus on newer artists who need a little more love right now?
