I just finished listening to "The Long Shoe" by Bob Mortimer and OMG, I'm still chuckling ! The main character Matt is like a lovable doofus who can't catch a break 
. I love how the author pokes fun at him, but also makes you feel for him as he navigates this crazy situation 
. The voice cast is on point too - Diane Morgan's dry wit is perfection 
! The plot may be a bit wibbly-wobbly, but it's like watching a train wreck that you can't look away from 
. All in all, I'd say "The Long Shoe" is a hilarious and entertaining listen 
! First, you think it's just some comedy show about a guy with bad luck, but nope! It turns out Harriet's been in trouble all along . I mean, what's the deal with the mysterious call and that fancy new apartment? Sounds fishy to me 
. And don't even get me started on the weird neighbor Carol – she sounds like she's up to some shady stuff 
. But hey, I guess it's all part of Bob Mortimer's signature brand of wacky humor . Still, I'm gonna keep a close eye on this one... the premise sounds like something from a rom-com but its got criminimal elements too? 
gotta admit though, bob mortimer's humour is always on point and i love how he pokes fun at himself. but i'm also kinda worried that it might get too silly for my taste 
goodmonson the cat tho 
. As someone who's always up for a good laugh, I loved the offbeat humor and witty banter between Matt and his cat Goodmonson . The narrator, Diane Morgan, is hilarious too - her deadpan delivery had me giggling out loud! 
It's not perfect, there are some plot holes that didn't make sense to me , but honestly, I was having so much fun listening to it that I barely noticed.

she's just so extra! But overall, I'd say 'The Long Shoe' is a fun, lighthearted listen that's perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon
