I'm telling ya, I remember when we were just starting to get into these new-fangled computers back in the 90s... think dial-up internet and floppy disks
. Fast forward to now, and it's like, AI is becoming a thing! This Anthropic company thinks they've got the magic formula with Claude, their chatbot. But what I don't get is why they're pushing so hard for this super advanced AI when they're already being so careful about safety and research? It's like, can't we just slow down for once?
I mean, I know it sounds old-school, but there's gotta be a better way to get these AI systems right before we start handing them over control of our lives. I'm all for innovation and progress, but not at the expense of accountability and human values, you know?
What do you guys think? Should we just take a step back and reassess this whole AI thing?
