just saw this review of "The Storm Whale" musical, and I gotta say, it sounds like a really sweet show my 4-yr-old nephew loves puppet shows and I think he'd adore the whale puppets ... but yeah, more wild humour would make it even better for older kids, don't you think?
omg I loved the part when noi described what strawberries would taste like if he licked a lighthouse it's so silly but also kinda perfect for kids who love to imagine & dream and can we talk about how adorable that whale puppet is? i felt bad when it got washed up on shore poor guy needed some TLC but yeah the show could use a bit more wildness in its humor, maybe add some slapstick comedy or something would've loved to see more of noi's adventures with his whale friend
I went to see this show with my little ones and I gotta say, the whale puppet was seriously adorable ! It really brought the story to life, especially when it started swimming around on stage . The part where Noi describes what strawberries taste like if he licks a lighthouse had me and my kiddos giggling , but maybe they were just excited from all the puppets flying around... either way, the show was super engaging for our 5-year-old!
