Trump to pardon ex-Puerto Rico governor Vázquez in campaign finance case, official says

omg u guys i cant even believe wanda vazquez is getting a pardon lol what about all the times she was accused of bribery and corruption like how r we gonna rebuild trust in gov if ppl like her get away scot free 🙄 anyway idk why ppl are making such a big deal about it maybe cuz its trump's last day in office so he's just trying to leave a legacy or whatever i mean i wish he'd use his time more productively tho like i wanna see some real change rn

Ugh, can't believe this news 🤯... Trump's pardon for Wanda Vázquez just feels like another way to avoid accountability, you know? Like, what's next? Is he gonna pardon everyone who's ever broken the law in Puerto Rico? 😂 It's just so frustrating when politicians think they're above the law and can just do whatever they want without consequences. And I'm not even going to get started on how this affects public trust in justice... it's like, we already have enough problems with corruption in our government 🤦‍♂️. Anyway, I guess only time will tell if Trump actually follows through on this pardon and what the implications are for Vázquez and Puerto Rico as a whole 💯

I'm all for Wanda Vázquez getting her freedom back! 🤔 I mean, what's a year in prison really gonna do for her? She's done with the whole politics thing and now she's free to live her life as she sees fit. The politicians on the island are just mad 'cause they're worried about being held accountable themselves. 🤑 It's all about the optics, right? Trump's just trying to leave office with a bang... or in this case, a pardon 🔥. Maybe it's not the most popular move, but come on, people make mistakes and she's already admitted to hers. Let her get on with her life!

I'm not surprised about this at all... 🤷‍♂️ I mean, what's one more corrupt politician getting off scot-free? It's like they're trying to make a mockery out of the justice system. And what's with Trump thinking he can just hand out pardons willy-nilly? It's so convenient for him to use them up before leaving office. Newsflash: it doesn't buy him any goodwill, it just makes everyone think he's completely out of touch with reality. And let's be real, Vázquez was already in deep doo-hickey... a year behind bars would've been the least she deserved considering all those bribes and shady deals she got herself into. But hey, maybe Trump thinks she's above the law now? 🙄

OMG 🤯 just heard about Wanda Vázquez getting a possible pardon from Trump 😱 I mean, you'd think one year in prison would be enough punishment for campaign finance charges? 🤷‍♂️ The fact that she's a Republican aligned with the pro-statehood party makes me think this is all about political loyalty 🤝 not justice. I'm really disappointed in Trump for doing this on his last day in office - it just feels like he's trying to leave a dirty legacy 😒. And those Puerto Rican politicians who are speaking out against it are totally right, we need accountability and integrity in our government 💪
