... Trump's pardon for Wanda Vázquez just feels like another way to avoid accountability, you know? Like, what's next? Is he gonna pardon everyone who's ever broken the law in Puerto Rico? 
It's just so frustrating when politicians think they're above the law and can just do whatever they want without consequences. And I'm not even going to get started on how this affects public trust in justice... it's like, we already have enough problems with corruption in our government 
. Anyway, I guess only time will tell if Trump actually follows through on this pardon and what the implications are for Vázquez and Puerto Rico as a whole 
I mean, what's a year in prison really gonna do for her? She's done with the whole politics thing and now she's free to live her life as she sees fit. The politicians on the island are just mad 'cause they're worried about being held accountable themselves.
