Trump's DHS has shot 11 people during immigration enforcement operations since September

The list of shootings involving ICE or CBP officers includes:

1. January 7, 2026: Renee Good, a 37-year-old Minneapolis resident, was killed by an ICE officer named Jonathan Ross after she tried to drive her car away from the scene.
2. December 24, 2025: Tiago Alexandre Sousa-Martins, a Portuguese national who overstayed his visa, was shot and injured by an ICE officer in Glen Burnie, Maryland, after he rammed his van into several ICE vehicles.
3. January 8, 2026: Luis David Nino Moncada, a Venezuelan national who entered the US illegally in 2023, and Yorlenys Betzabeth Zambrano-Contreras were wounded by a CBP agent during an enforcement operation tied to a prostitution ring of the Tren de Aragua gang.
4. January 14, 2026: Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis was injured by an unnamed federal law enforcement officer during a targeted traffic stop in Minneapolis.

Note: The list only includes cases where an on-duty ICE or CBP officer fired at and struck someone, and does not include shootings in which no one was hit or cases in which officers fired weapons other than guns.

ICE & CBP got to be super reckless sometimes, you know? Like what if Renee wasnt even trying to escape, she just freaked out cuz some dude pulled her over? 🤔 Doesnt make sense for them to shoot her car away from the scene lol. And Tiago, why did he ram his van into their cars in the 1st place? Guess he was really desperate... 😂 But seriously tho, these incidents should be super investigated ASAP!

OMG, have you guys seen this? These shootings are like a ticking time bomb! I mean, what's the point of these immigration enforcement operations if people just get shot? 🤯 It's like, can't we all just coexist peacefully? The US is supposed to be a land of the free and home of the brave, but what about those who don't fit into that narrative? 🤔

I think we need to have a national conversation about our immigration policies. Are we really making the country safer by putting up barriers and chasing people down with guns? 💥 Or are we just creating more victims like Renee Good? 😭 The statistics are crazy - 3 deaths, 1 injury so far this year... what's next?

And don't even get me started on the CBP agent who got a free pass after shooting two Venezuelans. Was it self-defense? Who knows? But we need transparency and accountability here! 📊 We can't just sweep things under the rug because "national security" is at stake.

This is what I call a national crisis, folks! We need to take a step back and re-evaluate our priorities. What's more important - keeping our borders secure or protecting human life? 🤷‍♀️ The debate rages on... 💬

🤔 This is getting out of hand... I mean, I get it, folks are fed up with all the crazy immigration stuff, but gunshots? 🚫 We need to be careful here. Like, what's the justification for these officers firing their guns? Was there some kind of threat? Was Tiago trying to run over them on purpose? It just doesn't add up. And what about the fact that Luis and Yorlenys were just in a prostitution sting operation... weren't they supposed to be suspects or something? 🤷‍♂️ I mean, I'm not saying these people didn't break any rules, but using deadly force? That's just not right.

.. these stories are getting more & more disturbing 🤯. It's like the world is losing its cool over here. I mean, can't we all just get along? These people are fleeing their homes, looking for a better life, and what do they get? A bullet from some dude in uniform 😔. It's not just about immigration, it's about human lives. We need to start thinking about the consequences of our actions & how they affect others.

I've lived through some tough times myself, but this is different. This is senseless violence 🚫. We should be working towards solutions that bring people together, not tearing them apart. It's time for us to take a step back and think about what we want our world to look like in the future 🌎.

ugh i dont wanna talk about this stuff 🤕 it feels so intense seeing all these cases like what even is going on here? like renee good was just trying to drive away and she got shot by an ice officer lol why did it have to be like that? and tiago alexandre sousa-martins just drove his van into some ice cars and now he's injured 🚗💔 and then there's luis david nino moncada and yorlenys betzabeth zambrano-contreras who got shot during an enforcement op but they were involved in a prostitution ring which is already super messed up why do law enforcement have to be so aggressive all the time? and julio cesar sosacelis got hurt too during a traffic stop 🚗😬 i wish we could just have some sort of system in place where everyone can feel safe no matter what their situation is
