UFC: What next for Paddy Pimblett and who could he fight next?

Paddy Pimblett's fight against Justin Gaethje ended in defeat, with a TKO victory for Gaethje. However, Pimblett is expected to bounce back from the loss and will need time to recover before his next fight.

The UFC has announced that the current BMF titleholder, Charles Oliveira, will be facing Max Holloway on March 7th in Las Vegas. This would have been Pimblett's planned opponent had he not lost to Gaethje.

It is unclear when Pimblett's next fight will take place, but it is expected that he will return to the octagon soon after recovering from his injury.

OMG, what a crazy turn of events for Paddy Pimblett! I feel bad for him, he was riding high on that big win and now this... but you gotta respect Justin Gaethje's skills, dude got him done . Now it looks like Charles Oliveira is gonna be the new target for Holloway's aggression , which is always a exciting matchup! I'm still hoping Pimblett will bounce back strong and show us what he's made of... fingers crossed for him! He needs some time to recover, no rush in getting back into the octagon.

man what a crazy turn of events! paddy was supposed to be taking on max holloway for the BMF title and now that's all been thrown out the window because of gaethje i think pimblett needs some time to heal up before he gets back in there with someone, but i'm hyped to see what he comes back with... he was on fire before that fight against gaethje

the question is though, who's gonna step in for him next? i'm not seeing anyone else as a good contender right now. max holloway's gonna be looking sharp after that win over charles oliviera and pimblett needs to figure out how to stop someone like that... meanwhile, the ufc just gave me more reason to tune in to their fights

So, I'm thinking what happened to Paddy Pimblett's training? He was supposed to be taking on Max Holloway next but now that's all been changed. It's gonna take some time for him to get back in the gym and build up his strength again, right?

I've got a feeling Pimblett's gonna come out even stronger from this loss, you know? He's already shown he can hang with the best of 'em, like Justin Gaethje. Now he just needs to find his rhythm again.

What do you guys think about this new fight for Charles Oliveira though? Max Holloway's a tough opponent, I'm not sure if Oliveira's gonna be able to take him down...

I'm kinda bummed for Pimblett , but I gotta respect how quickly he'll bounce back from this loss . Losing a fight doesn't define your career, you know? He's got a lot of potential and if he just takes some time to heal up, he'll be back in the octagon fighting like a pro .

The UFC is gonna make sure Pimblett gets his shot at the title eventually, I'm sure of it . Charles Oliveira vs Max Holloway is gonna be an epic fight though , and hopefully Pimblett can use that as motivation to come back stronger than ever . Let's see how he handles his next comeback, that's what I'm excited about

ugh i was so hyped for paddy's fight against gaethje and now he gets knocked out still though gotta give max holloway some respect, the guy's been on a roll lately but what's up with the UFC's scheduling game? can't they at least give us 24hrs notice when something changes like this? paddy's gonna need some time to recover and i'm not sure if i can stomach watching him get destroyed by max all over again at least we know he'll be back, that's what matters most

so pimblett's loss was def a bummer, but i'm not too surprised. gaethje's power is no joke and pimblett got caught with some bad shots . anyway, oliveira vs holloway is shaping up to be an awesome fight! oliveira's been on fire lately and holloway's got the skillz to keep him in it . but what's really gonna interest me is when pimblett comes back from this loss. he was looking pretty good before gaethje and i think he'll bounce back stronger than ever . gotta see how long that recovery takes, but i'm sure we'll be hearing about it soon .

Paddy Pimblett just got taken down by Justin Gaethje, which is totally not unexpected given how dominant Gaethje has been in his last few fights . But you know what's even more surprising? The fact that Charles Oliveira is gonna be fighting Max Holloway instead of Pimblett on March 7th! I mean, don't get me wrong, Oliveira and Holloway are both top-notch fighters, but it just seems like the UFC made a last-minute switch and nobody told us .

So, now we're left wondering when Pimblett's next fight will be. Given how rough Gaethje beat him up, I'm guessing Pimblett needs some serious time to recover before he gets back in there with another guy . Maybe the UFC should give him a few months to work on his game plan and get his energy levels back up? Either way, it's gonna be interesting to see how Pimblett bounces back from this loss... and whether Oliveira can take down Holloway!
