Tyla Celebrates 24th Birthday with Star-Studded Serenade at Epic Records Grammy Party

Music star Tyla was the center of attention on her 24th birthday, which just so happened to fall on the same day as the Epic Records x Hennessy Grammy party. The Usher and Zara Larsson attended alongside fellow artist Adam Lambert, Kelly Rowland and Ty Dolla $ign – and made sure to serenade Tyla with a special birthday song.

The evening's festivities were also marked by a number of nods to other Epic Records artists who have been nominated for this year's Grammys. For instance, Eddie Benjamin was recognized for his album of the year nod for work on Justin Bieber's <em>SWAG</em>, while Yolanda Adams received an award nomination for her work on <em>Sunny Days</em>.

Epic Records president Ezekiel Lewis kicked off the event by telling the crowd that the special day was a chance to celebrate Tyla and all of the other talented artists nominated for this year's Grammys. After that he asked everyone in the room to take a moment to serenade her with a rendition of "Happy Birthday", which she happily sang along to while blowing out candles on a custom cake.

The evening featured numerous cocktails inspired by the various nominees, each one tied to the different artists and songs up for an award this year.

I don’t usually comment but… I think it's kinda weird that Tyla got a whole party thrown in her honor just because of bad timing . Like, I get it, birthdays are special and all, but the Epic Records Grammy party was already happening anyway?
