'We could hit a wall': why trillions of dollars of risk is no guarantee of AI reward

I mean, I'm kinda convinced that we're gonna get there but like, at the same time, I think it's all gonna be a disaster . It's just so hard to predict what'll happen with AGI, you know? One minute it's gonna change everything and make trillions of dollars for investors , the next it's gonna crash and burn, taking our jobs and livelihoods with it .

And don't even get me started on the debt markets ... I mean, I'm all for innovation and progress, but when does it end? We can't just keep throwing money at a problem that might not even exist yet . It's like we're trying to predict the future without knowing what it looks like .

But then again... maybe I'm just being too cautious and maybe AGI will actually revolutionize industries and make us all richer . It's all so confusing ! Can't we just take a step back, breathe for a sec, and figure out if this AI thing is really worth all the hype ?

Dude I'm telling you, this whole AI thing is like a massive bubble waiting to burst . Trillions of dollars pouring into it and still nobody knows for sure if it'll actually work out. And the stakes are so high, if it fails, it's gonna be catastrophic . I mean, think about it, if AI can't replace human jobs without messing up society, what's the point? It's like they're just trying to solve one problem and create another .

And don't even get me started on the debt markets. Like, half of that $2.9 trillion is gonna be covered by cash flow from hyperscalers... it's just not sustainable . And tech stocks are already blowing up in value, but what happens when the bubble pops? I'm not saying it'll happen, but you gotta wonder if all this hype is just a big risk .

I think we're seeing some crazy stuff here, like they're trying to convince us that AGI is gonna change everything overnight . But what about the risks? What about the safety and ethics of these machines? They're not even talking about those things . It's all just hype and speculation, if you ask me .
