Your Guardian sport weekend: Premier League, WSL and NFL action

This weekend's football action will provide fans with four Premier League matches and five Women's Super League fixtures.

For Saturday's lunchtime kick-off, Arsenal will face Everton in a crucial Women's Super League game. The Gunners are looking to bounce back from their defeat at Aston Villa last week after a 3-0 midweek win over Club Brugge in the Champions League. Meanwhile, Everton has ended Chelsea's long unbeaten run with a 1-0 win at Kingsmeadow.

In the Premier League, Chelsea will host an Everton side that is on a roll, having won four of their last five league matches while keeping a clean sheet in each victory. Liverpool are wobbling from a loss of form and face Brighton, who beat them 3-2 in their last meeting in May.

The late afternoon kick-off sees Brentford face Leeds in the Premier League. The Bees have lost their last two league games, but Leeds have been on a turnaround in fortunes after switching to 3-5-2 at half-time of a narrow loss at Manchester City.

Sunday's football action will feature five Women's Super League fixtures and several European games, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Milan. For the Premier League, Crystal Palace will face Manchester City, who are on the back of a thrilling 2-1 fightback at Real Madrid in midweek. Tottenham will travel to Nottingham Forest riding an uplift of wins over Brentford and Slavia Prague.

The American Football section will feature the New England Patriots facing the Buffalo Bills for their chance to win their first AFC East title this decade, while the Kansas City Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers with a long-shot postseason chances on the line.

Ugh, can you believe how inconsistent some teams are? Like Liverpool is having a rough patch and they're playing Brighton again πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. And Arsenal's women team just lost to Aston Villa last week but then won big against Club Brugge in midweek... what's up with that? πŸ˜• Anyway, I'm super excited for the weekend matches - I've got my fantasy football lineup all set and ready to go πŸ’ͺ. How about you, are you watching any of these games or just following along online πŸ“Ί?

omg i think arsenal are gonna crush everton, they've been looking so strong lately πŸ€©πŸ† and everton's been doing pretty well too but still think gunners got this πŸ’ͺ😎 but what about lfc tho? Brighton did beat them last time and now they're struggling again... hope liverpool can turn it around soon πŸ˜”πŸ’”

Oh joy, more football πŸ€πŸ‘. Can't wait to see some of these teams bounce back from their losses... like how Arsenal's last week defeat was totally not a reason for them to lose πŸ˜’. And Everton beating Chelsea is definitely not an upset at all, I mean, who wouldn't want to win against the unbeaten team? πŸ’β€β™€οΈ. Also, Brentford's losing streak doesn't even matter because Leeds has been on a turnaround... right? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ And what's up with Liverpool's form slump? Maybe they can bounce back from that 3-2 loss... like last May πŸ˜’.

I'm low-key hyped for this weekend's football action πŸŸοΈπŸ‘€ Arsenal vs Everton is gonna be intense, I've been following both teams and it's anyone's game πŸ€”. Chelsea has been looking strong lately but they're in for a tough match against Everton. Liverpool's struggles are concerning, hope they bounce back from this loss πŸ’ͺ. Brentford needs a win big time, they can't afford to lose again 😬. And have you seen the American Football section? Patriots vs Bills is gonna be EPIC 🏈πŸ’₯

omg did u watch that crazy match between evilton & chelsea? they are both on fire 🀩⚽️! but i think evilton will take it πŸ’ͺ🏻, dey been on roll lately lol πŸ‘€ meanwhile, lfc is having a bad day, hope dey bounce back 4 the nxt match πŸ˜”πŸ’”

I'm loving this weekend's football action already! The Women's Super League game between Arsenal and Everton is gonna be a nail-biter, especially after that last win over Club Brugge 🀩. And in the Premier League, I think Chelsea vs Leeds is gonna be super intense - they're on fire right now πŸ”₯. Can't wait to see some exciting matches! πŸ˜†
