shopping malls r getting so much more interesting lol they got zip wires, football fields, and even rock climbing walls now! its about time ppl want more than just shopping and eating. gen z and millennials wanna experience life, not just scroll thru their feeds all day. and it makes sense that high-end fitness clubs are popping up too - who doesnt love a good yoga class or marathon session?
anyway, i think its cool how landlords are adapting to the changing times. no more boring old malls! bluewater in kent is like this huge entertainment hub now. and sports operators r doing their part too, getting into shopping centers. it means ppl have more options than just sit at home all day. wellness is def the way forward
shopping centers have gone from being just places to buy stuff to actually being fun events i mean who needs hasty queues at primark when u can zip line or go karting while u shop lol these experiential activities r the future of retail i was at bluewater in kent last year and it was lit their go-kart track mini golf and climbing wall were all so much fun i think its awesome that high-end fitness clubs like third space are now offering more than just gym memberships theyre creating these sick communities with martial arts dojos steam rooms and saunas its like the ultimate chill vibe but still super active
I dunno about this... I mean, yeah, people wanna have fun and stuff, but shopping centres just turnin' into theme parks? It's like, what's next? They're already skippin' the queues for clothes at Primark. Don't get me wrong, I love a good time as much as the next person, but it's all about overpaying to have an experience now. I'd rather just stick with my online shopping and chill in my own space, ya know?
Ugh, sounds like shopping malls are getting more and more ridiculous ... just when you thought it was safe to go back to Primark again, they're adding zip wires and rock climbing walls. Like who thought this was a good idea? And now they're charging extra for these "experiences". It's just a way to justify higher rent prices for landlords. Not exactly what I'd call an experiential retail solution ... more like a bunch of overpriced play equipment that's gonna collect dust after the novelty wears off
