omg u guys this is crazy so president trump wants to get rid of the filibuster and i gotta say idk if thats a good idea at all it was made in the 70s to stop the majority from getting too powerful and now hes trying to dismantle it without even having enough votes to do it lol what kinda move is that maybe trump just doesnt understand how the system works or something anyway cant wait to see how this plays out

I'm still trying to figure out why they need a filibuster in the first place . Like, what if someone wants to slow down a bill and make sure it's thought out?
